How We Deliver as Prime
Mission Ready Contracting operates as a true federal prime. We own the schedule, RFIs, changes, QC/safety, Davis‑Bacon compliance, and certified payroll while licensed GC partners and vetted subcontractors perform the trades under our direction. Our 15/85 self‑performance model is structured for LOS compliance: we count similarly situated SDVOSB partners, hold a single point of contact for the agency, and ensure that subs do not contact the government directly.

What We Do
Mission Ready Contracting delivers small‑ to mid‑size construction and healthcare projects for federal, state, and municipal customers. On the construction side, we focus on VA clinics and hospitals, administrative facilities, barracks and offices, courthouses, public housing, and small public works—interior builds, MEP and life‑safety upgrades, finishes, roofing, sitework, and specialty repairs. On the healthcare side, we staff and manage psychiatric nurse practitioners, social workers, therapists, and nurses to support VA, DoD, and other agencies with mental‑health and clinical coverage.
WHY AGENCIES CHOOSE MRC
Contracting officers and facility managers work with Mission Ready Contracting when they need a small‑business prime that behaves like a seasoned GC. We provide a single point of contact, enforce subcontractor discipline, and keep agency staff insulated from day‑to‑day noise while the work progresses. Our team has lived both sides of federal operations—from hospital leadership to union representation—so we understand how schedule slippage, safety incidents, or payroll errors ripple across your organization.
On every project we publish a clear division of responsibility, maintain Davis‑Bacon and certified payroll compliance, and document 15/85 self‑performance so your file is audit‑ready. Our partners bring scalable GC and trades capacity; MRC brings SDVOSB status, prime‑level control, and federal paperwork discipline.
Team & Partner Strength
Mission Ready Contracting is led by Jonathan Gallegos, an Army combat veteran and former VA department director, with 100% service‑connected disability and full ownership and control of the company. Under his leadership, MRC combines federal healthcare experience, construction management, and union representation with the field capacity of proven GC partners.

Healthcare & Mental Health Support
In addition to construction, Mission Ready Contracting delivers healthcare and mental‑health staffing under SDVOSB leadership. We supply psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed clinical social workers, therapists, and registered nurses to support VA medical centers, outpatient clinics, and other federal facilities. Our experience inside the VA system means we understand credentialing, scheduling, and the realities of providing care to veterans and their families.
On‑Site Coordination & Safety Culture
MRC’s field approach is simple: clear scopes, documented expectations, and no surprises. Our superintendents and partners run daily huddles, enforce PPE and site controls, and document progress so that RFIs, changes, and delays are handled early. We protect agency staff and patients by coordinating work windows, infection control, noise, and access in active facilities.
